I am a first time user, how do I list my property?
There are only a few steps to listing your property. First you need to create a user account. You can do this by clicking on “Get Started Here” located on the homepage. Once you fill out the information needed on this page your account will be created. This gives you access to a management control panel where you can add/edit properties. Your next step is to input your property information. Select your property type and fill in your property's information. At this point you will have a option to preview your property. After all your property information is input you will be asked for your billing information. Once payment is complete your property will be active and viewable on our website. Congratulations you're done!
How much does it cost to list my property?
It is FREE to list your property on AllStudentRentals.com. Please take a few moments to create an account and input your property information. You then will be given the current price list. The only time you pay AllStudentRentals.com is when you receive a qualified lead and we bring your business.
What is considered a lead?

What if I want to stop my listing from running?
Simply login to your control panel, and "Archive" your listing. Your property will not be renewed at your next anniversary date and your card will no longer be charged each month.
Will I ever get double charged for the same lead?
You will never get charged twice for the same lead. We monitor emails and phone calls and track for duplicate leads. Please note that leads are tracked per month per property so you may receive the same contact information for different properties or for different months.
How do I make changes or updates to my property?
To make changes or updates to your property take seconds. Simply enter you username and password to login. Click on the "Go" button and you will be signed in and brought to the management console page. Click on "edit" and you will see a drop down list of all properties, click on the property you want to edit and make any necessary changes. Follow the onscreen steps to save your changes.
Can I preview my listing before I have to pay for it?
Yes you can! This is one of the best features in our management control panel. After inputting all property information you will then proceed to the next step which is to preview your listing.
How do I ad photos to my listing?
You will be prompted while inputting your property's information. You may add or remove photos at any time by editing your property from the member's console. You may upload unlimited pictures.
How can I tell if my property is active or not?
You can find all of the information you need in your control panel. Simply login to your account by filling in your login information and clicking on the “Go” button in the upper right hand corner. After you click to login you will be taken to the control panel. Click on “My Listings” or “Our Listings” to see active properties. To see in-active properties click on the “Archive” tab.
How can I maximize my property listing?
There are several things you can do to make sure that you get the results you want from your listing. The first is to sign up for a decent amount of time. This seems obvious, but many owners tend to skimp on their listing length. If a tenant likes your property, they may not need to move right away or they may tell a friend about your complex. When those prospective tenants come back to the site, you'd better hope you didn't stop your property's listing. The longer you list your property, the better the results. Secondly, you need to have a photo. A photo is worth a 1,000 words and it is in your best interest to have as many as you can. Other things like accepting online applications, office hours and detailed amenities also have been proven to improve listing success.
How do I activate an archived property?
You can easily activate listings every time they become vacant again by clicking on the “Archive “ tab and then clicking on the STAR to the left of the property picture on the listings view.
What are metrics?
On the “Metrics” tab you can see a detailed pie chart and histogram of property views. These numbers indicate how many times a prospective renter views your listing on our website.
How many pictures can I upload?
Unlimited. The more pictures the better!
How long of a description can I have?
Unlimited. The longer the descriptions the better!
Can I pay for my listings with a Check, Credit Card, or Invoice me later?
Currently we accept Visa, Master card, Discover, and Amex. We also offer an “Invoice Me” payment method where we will send you an invoice and you can pay with a check.
How do I get a promo code?
Promo codes are given out during special promotional events. They can also be found on certain advertisements and marketing collateral.
I created an account, how do I login?
Simply enter in your login username and password in the upper right hand corner and click “Go.” If you forgot your password or username click “For Username/Password?” and we will send you your password.
What are users?
We understand that multiple property managers work under the same property management company. To make it easier and more personalized we implemented this feature so individual property managers can see a list of just their own properties as well as ones managed by the company. This features also makes it easier for a prospective tenants to call the right property manager.

All properties will be automatically posted to Google Housing, and distributed throughout the Google network, which link back to the original property listing.

Each week, a property is exported to craigslist in an effort to drive traffic to the our website, and to advertise the properties of our customers.

I forgot my login/password, how can I retrieve it?
Just click on "Forgot your Username/Password?" under the password field on the members login page. This will reset your password and a new one will be emailed to you.
How is my user information stored?
All user information is stored with the highest security. Passwords are stored in a secure database and encrypted with security. We as creators of the database aren't even able to find out your password if we needed to. All your credit card and personal information is also stored in a database that secured against hackers and theft. Your information is extra safe on our website.
How can I pay for/activate multiple properties?
For accounting purposes our billing system is designed to provide each user with the most functional features. Because most properties have their own income and expense ledgers, we bill each property individually. When you add a new property, your last billing information will automatically populate in the appropriate fields. If you wish to use another credit card, you may do so by simply changing the information at this time. You are also provided individual receipts for each transaction. If you have a very large amount of properties and would like to bill all your properties in a lumped group please contact us and we can assist you.
Do I have to pay to search the listings?
No, Never! Our service is a free service to renters and those in seek of rental units. Landlords support these free services for you.
How do I filter the listings?
Click on the filter bar and filter any options you may need. You can make basic searches or advanced searches depending on your needs.
How do I use the map feature?
Click on the "Map View" tab at the bottom of the screen right above the page numbers to access the interactive map. You can use the plus and minus buttons to zoom in and out. You can also click and drag on the map to navigate to new locations. If you click on a property marker, the property will popup and you can see the full description.
How can I contact the properties I like?
There are several ways to contact properties you like. The easiest way is to call them using the phone number provided, or send them an email if the link is provided. If they do not have an email, you can use our mapping feature to go visit them.
How do I search for roommates?
You must sign-in and create an account to access the roommates section. Once signed in you can edit your profile if you are looking to connect with other roommates and be placed in the roommates section. To contact a potential roommate on the list click on the person and then click "Contact" and you will be prompted to end a message to the individual.

What if I am looking to buy a house?
AllStudentRentals.com offers a "Buy A Place" section that had a comprehensive list of local Realtors in your area.
What should I do if my school isn't listed?
If you school isn't listed, click the "Contact Us" link and we will add your school as soon as we can.

Yes you can. Simply choose the filter features to want to filter by and begin.
